You Can Make a Library Card Even if You Don’t Live in Sendai
Recently a high school student from the north of Miyagi Prefecture visited Koryu Corner as part of their work experience.
To get here on their first visit to the International Center they got a coach and then the subway.
On the way to the Koryu Corner from the subway, there was one slightly lonesome looking person in a school uniform among all the conference participants.
Despite being a first year in high school, she knew she wanted to study Korean in future. At Koryu Corner, she asked question after question, such as “where do you subscribe to Korean daily newspapers?” and “what kind of books do foreigners use to study Japanese?”
Please come and visit us again, next time as a regular visitor.
~Even if you don’t live in Sendai, if you live in a nearby city or town, you can make a Koryu Corner library card.~
If you have a form of ID with you, you can borrow books that same day. For details, please inquire at the Koryu Corner.
