We have been running classes since 2002 from Sendai Multicultural Center’s lecture rooms. We have 30 members, over half of which have been active in the group for over 10 years. Our members, who have wide-ranging interests, rich life experience and have studied Japanese language education can adapt to any topics that the students want to cover. The class is held every Tuesday from 1.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. If you are a someone who would like to learn more Japanese, regardless of level or time, you can participate for free and with no need to let us know in advance. In principle, we answer questions related to Japanese and will practice Japanese conversation with students on a one-on-one basis. You can join in without any prior notice. You are free to join, and free to stop coming whenever you’d like. Those who have studied Japanese from textbooks before at school or on their own, but do not have the confidence to speak yet, please join us and get used to conversing in Japanese. The volunteers also look forward to meeting and speaking with people from many different cultures. Anyone interested please check out our website or Facebook page below.
