Information from the City of Sendai “Sendai City’s Public Schools (Elementary, Junior High and High Schools, etc.) are Closed Until Tuesday, April 14th, 2020.”（市立学校は4月14日まで休みです）
Sendai city’s public school closure will be extended from Tuesday, April 7th to Tuesday April 14th in order to prevent both contraction of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) as individuals, and spread of the virus.
During the school closure, children whose guardians are unable to take care of them due to work or similar reasons, can go to their schools or children’s clubs.
The time that children can go to schools or children’s clubs differs by their grades.
