【10/19(Sat.)】Bicycle safety class for foreign residents “Let’s learn the bicycle rules” to be held!

There will be a class held for foreign residents of Sendai to learn about the signage and traffic and safety rules of Japan. This will be especially helpful for exchange students who are travelling to school or part-time jobs by bicycle.

◇Japans traffic rules and signage
Learn the differences between rules in Japan and other countries through pictures and illustrations.
◇Riding a bike
We will be using a driving schools course to practice safe riding skills.
◇A small gift for participants
Once you complete the class you will receive a bike light or stationary.

◆Time and date: October 19 (Sat.)1:30p.m to 3:00p.m.
◆Location:Akamon Driving school (Kawauchi kawamaecho 61, Aoba-ku, Sendai)
◆Aimed at:Foreign residents of Sendai
◆Capacity:20 people(first come basis)
◆Cost:Free of charge
 If you have a bicycle please come directly to the venue. If you cannot come by bike, there will be a courtesy vehicle from the Sendai International Center which will take you to the venue.
