Japanese Cultural Experience “Calligraphy“ (Subsidized by SenTIA) (SenTIA補助金事業)

The Sendai International Friendship Club will be hosting a workshop where one could try Japanese calligraphy.

Through hosting cultural exchange events, the Sendai International Friendship Club hopes to promote mutual respect between people of different nationalities and ethnicities.
On January 19 (Sunday) starting at 1:30 p.m., we will be hosting a calligraphy workshop at Miyagi NPO Plaza.
Participants can draw with colorful inks and try writing kanjis of their choice.

The instructor for this workshop is TOMO, who is a professional calligrapher.

If you don’t have a Japanese kanji name, please let us know when sending in your application.
We can give you a few suggestions based on the pronunciation of your name.

Everyone is welcome to participate in our event. (Foreign residents and school-age children are also welcome)
We look forward to seeing you at the event!
