Would you like to be involved with activities related to international exchange and supporting foreign residents in Sendai along with SenTIA (Sendai Tourism and International Relations Bureau)? We are currently looking for applications from ambitious international students with new ideas.

◆Who can apply?: International students enrolled in universities etc., that are also registered as residents in Sendai City
◆Capacity: Around 18
◆Qualification criteria: Please read the application guidelines or inquire for more information.
◆Employment period: (First term) April 1, 2025 – September 30, 2025 (Second term) October 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026
◆Compensation: 120,000 yen per term.
◆How to apply: Prepare the following documents and apply by post or directly in person: (1) Application Form with official confirmation stamp of university or institute you are affiliated with (2) Double-sided copy of your residence card (3) An essay in Japanese on the topic of “What I would like to do on the Sendai International Students Program” (Approx. 1200 characters on A4 paper)
◆Application period: SenTIA must receive the application between December 12, 2024 (Thursday) to January 10, 2025 (Friday) ※ If you are applying in person you can only come to the office between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays (Monday – Friday).
◆Selection process: First round; Document screening / Second Round; Interview on afternoon of March 1, 2025 (Saturday)
