Japanese Cultural Activity “Tanabata Decoration Workshop” (Subsidized by SenTIA)

The Sendai International Friendship Club is holding a workshop where participants can experience making Tanabata decorations.

The Sendai International Friendship Club’s intercultural exchange events aim to promote mutual respect between people of different nationalities and ethnicities through workshops to experience foreign cultures.
This time the club will hold a workshop where participants can experience making Tanabata decorations.

The decorations are 50cm in height, and participants will be able to take them home with them after the workshop.
We recommend decorating them around your home and enjoying them during the period of Sendai Tanabata festival (6th – 8th August).
(Please be aware that this workshop is not run by professionals).

Anyone and everyone is welcome (including foreign residents and school children).
We hope to see you there!
