Do you know about the disasters that happened in Sendai? Have you ever heard about the stories of survivors? Do you know what you should do before a disaster, and what to do when a disaster occurs?
What about learning about disaster and disaster prevention?
We are currently recruiting foreign residents who are interested in disaster risk reduction and regional disaster prevention to participate in our training program.
◆Date and Time: June 17, 2023 (Sat) 10:00am-4:30pm
◆Location: Sendai Multicultural Center Lecture Room (Conference Building 1F, Sendai International Center)
◆Organizers: International Research Institute of Disaster Science (IRIDeS) of Tohoku University, Sendai Tourism, Convention and International Association (SenTIA)
◆Intended for: International students and foreign residents who want to learn about disaster prevention and preparation.
◆Instruction Languages: English and Japanese
