2/17 Class on Preparations for Elementary School for Non-Japanese Children and their Families（外国人児童と家族のための小学校入学準備講座）
The school year at Elementary school in Japan beings in April. We are holding a class for children who have roots abroad and their parents and caregivers in easy Japanese, along with multilingual support for those who require it.
There will be an explanation about preparations and items that’s are required, fees, school curriculum, and environment of Japanese elementary schools. There will also be an explanation about Japanese language study and support for non-Japanese families will also be given. The explanations will be held in easy Japanese, however there will be an interpreter for each language group for those who have questions, want advice, or are unsure about anything.
■Date and time: February 17, 2024 (Sat.) 10:00a.m.~ 11:30a.m.
■Where：Lecture Room, Sendai Multicultural Center
■Who: Non-Japanese guardians with a child who will be entering Elementary school.
The class will be held in Japanese, however there will be interpreters
and time for participants to ask questions
