Let’s Check Where Refuge Areas are(避難所の場所を調べておこう)

Every year in Japan, disasters occur due to heavy rain and typhoons. People need to evacuate if they are at a dangerous place. Places you can evacuate to are called refuge areas (hinanjo in Japanese). If you go to a refuge area, you can receive food and sleep there at night. When a disaster occurs, places such as elementary and junior high schools become refuge areas. Check where the closest refuge areas to your home, workplace, and school are.
