（Notice）Termination of publishing and listing of “Services available in foreign languages SENDAI HOSPITALS & CLINICS”
The publication “Services available in foreign languages SENDAI HOSPITALS & CLINICS” provided information in cooperation with the Sendai Medical Association and the Sendai Dental Association to foreign residents seeking medical consultations in foreign languages to do so with peace of mind.
In 1997, the first guide, physical publication in the form of a Map showing medical institutions, was created in English and Japanese. In 2000, we began publishing it online, and after this, medical institutions offering consultations in Chinese and Korean were added to the list, with information being updated on a scheduled basis.
However even after publication, personnel changes and working arrangements of foreign language speaking medical practitioners, consolidation, relocation and closure of medical facilities, it has become difficult for us to provide correct and up-to-date information. It is due to these circumstances that we will be terminating the publication and its posting online. We offer our sincerest gratitude to medical institutions that have provided information used this publication until present, and to those who have utilized this publication.
