Are you an international student who just came to Sendai and in serious need of a bicycle? In order to support international students, abandoned and illegally parked bicycles collected by the city have been refurbished and will be sold with a tie-in package of theft prevention registration and a traffic safety mark (liability insurance of 100 million yen included).

◆Date and Time: April 20, 2025 (Sun.) 10:30a.m.–12:00p.m. (Registration: 10:15a.m.-10:30a.m.)

◆Venue: Tohoku University Kawauchi North Campus Lecture Building B102

◆Please bring: Your residence card.

◆Aimed at: International students who plan to be living in Sendai beyond March 2026. (The bicycle sale is held to support international students long-term).

*Please apply only if you can make it to the venue on the day of the event.

◆Application period: April 7 (Mon.) 12:00p.m. – April 14 (Mon.) 12:00p.m.

*Application will be closed after first 60 applicants.

◆Number of bicycles: 30 available for purchase (Buyers will be decided via raffle)

◆Price per bike: 5,000 yen

◆Steps to buying: ①Apply with Google form (First 60 applicants. Can participate in raffle at venue.)

　　　　　　　　②Raffle at venue (30 bikes for sale. Can select bicycle based on order decided by raffle.)

　　　　　　　　③Raffle winners buy bicycle and register for theft prevention.
