Notice of Sendai City Shortfall Benefit for Flat-amount Tax cut Payment（【仙台市】「定額減税不足額給付金」について）
●Who is eligible to receive the benefit?
Those who received a lesser amount of Adjustment Benefit for Flat-amount Tax provided in FY2025 than what they should have received can receive the remaining balance as a benefit instead.
The city has sent out either the “Notice of Benefit Payment” in an orange envelope or “Payment Confirmation Form” in a blue envelope to eligible individuals on July 31, 2025.
●How much is the payment amount?
Individuals will receive the amount stated in the document sent by the City that are mentioned above.
●What do I need to do to receive the benefit?
①Those who receive the “Notice of Benefit Payment”
・There is no need to complete any procedure.
・The payment will be deposited on Monday, August 18, 2025 to the individual’s bank account stated in the notice.
・Those who would like to change their registered bank account or to not receive the payment, please call 0120-065-222 by Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
The “Notice of benefit payment” is mailed in an orange envelope as shown in the following image.
②Those who receive the “Payment Confirmation Form”
・Procedure has to be completed to receive the benefit.
・Pleas fill in the necessary information on the form you received (A form with “For submission” written on it).
・Please mail back a copy of any identification document and a copy of your bankbook along with the confirmation form to the City of Sendai.
・Please apply by Friday, October 31, 2025 using the return envelope enclosed.
The “Payment Confirmation Form” is mailed in a blue envelope as shown in the following image.
