MIYAGI Career Guidance for Children & Parents who are Non-native Japanese Speakers.（日本語を母語としない子どもと親のための進路ガイダンス）
Even if you don’t understand Japanese, you can still consult about Career Guidance in Japan.
“What are high schools like in Japan?” ”What do I need to do to enroll?” “What kinds of high schools are there?” “How much money will it cost?” We can resolve of your doubts, questions, and concerns together.
Time & Date: August 28, 2021 (Sat.) 2:00p.m. – 4:00p.m.
Location: Can participate at a venue or online.
■ Participation Method Please choose from the following 3 options
1.Sendai Multicultural Center (Main Venue)
Participants can gather and listen to the discussion in person.
Interpretation support in English, Chinese, Korean, Tagalog, and Spanish.
2.Ishinomaki City Sogo Fukushi Kaikan Minatoso (Satellite Venue)
People can gather together and watch a live stream of the main venue.
3.Online (Zoom)
Participate with a computer or tablet. *Broadcast in Japanese, English, and Chinese.
■ Outline
Target Group: Elementary students (5th and 6th grade), junior high students, and their parents
Participation Fee: Free
Capacity: 30 at the main venue (includes interpreters). Subject to change depending on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
Interpretation: Interpretation support available. Please see the above participation methods for details.
Content: Information regarding enrolling in Miyagi Prefecture high schools, experiences and stories from graduates and parents, Q&A session
