（Response to and support of those who have been affected by the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) No.5）

Application Period Closed

Miyagi Prefecture requested businesses owners to close business premises or reduce business operation hours in a bid to halt the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The period in subject is April 25 (Sat.), 2020 to May 6 (Wed.), 2020
Businesses will be payed money (Cooperation Fund) for their cooperation.

【Cooperation Fund】
300,000 yen per business owner　
However, if a business operates within Sendai City, the business will receive 400,000 yen.
(In the case that a business operates two or more premises, the business will receive a total of 800,000 yen, businesses operating three or more premises will also receive the maximum of 800,000 yen.)

【Eligible Period】
April 25 (Sat.), 2020 to May 6 (Wed.), 2020

※Only businesses who closed or reduced operating hours of a business for the entire stated period are eligible for this scheme.
※Businesses who closed or reduced operating hours after April 25 (Sat.), 2020, are not eligible to apply for this scheme.

【Eligible Businesses】
All of the following prerequisites must be met
・Are a small to medium-sized business operating a facility or premises in Miyagi Prefecture.
・Business closed or reduced operating hours of the eligible facility or premises
・Business owners of eating and drinking establishments etc., closed from 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m. of the following day. Alcohol was only served until 7:00 p.m..

【Application Period】
May 13 (Wed.), 2020 to Jun 15 (Mon.), 2020 (Applications postmarked with the deadline date will be accepted)

【How to Apply】
The required application form etc. can be downloaded from the official Sendai City website, and is distributed at each Ward Office and General Branch Office.
Applications are accepted by post, please send the application and attach all other required documents.
The mailing label can also be downloaded from the official Sendai City website.
※Please note that the application form and pledge form for eating and drinking establishments differs from non- drinking and eating establishments.
