Those receiving “Child Allowance” can receive 10,000 yen per child.
【Eligibility】
Those who received “Child Allowance” for March or April, 2020.
※The City of Sendai deposited the Child Allowance in registered bank accounts on June 15, 2020. Please inquire if you have not yet received yours.
【How to apply】
Those already receiving “Child Allowance” do not need to apply to receive payment.

4-5. 「3 to 4-month-old baby classes and toddler health check-ups」

The times and dates of the health check-ups differ between Ward Offices and General Branch Offices. The date of your child’s health check-up will be sent to your home by post.
※Please make sure to wear a mask on the day of check-up.
※Please do not go for a health check-up if either the child being examined or a family member has a fever.
Please contact a ward office or general branch office once their health has improved.

Nurseries and other facilities may be closed due to the spread of infection.
4-8. 「A request regarding the use of nurseries: Please keep your child at home if possible.」
A request regarding the use of nurseries, in order to prevent the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
When preventing the spread of viruses, it is important to keep many people from gathering in one place.
When parents are at home, they should try to keep their children at home as much as possible. Please do not go to nurseries and other facilities. However, parents should use nurseries and other facilities when they cannot be at home due to work or other circumstances.
To prevent the spread of viruses at nurseries and other facilities, wash your hands many times throughout the day, and wear a mask if you are coughing.
