PURPOSE OF FOUNDATIONBeginning with restoration activities at educational institutions which foreign residents who were affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake worked at, this group was established with the objective of supporting Miyagi into becoming even more charismatic than it was before the earthquake, through activities which support restoration of the community and society.
INTRODUCTIONAt English lessons run by MISO, teachers who speak English natively deliver a fun, high-quality learning opportunities. Foreign culture exchange is done through Halloween and spring camps, summer camps, beach cleanups, imoni stewed potato parties, jamborees, and other international cultural events. We have recently started a project to introduce different occupations as a way to provide job hunting support, where we help pair many foreign residents with businesses. We are restarting many of our events for the first time in several years, and are delighted to be just as active as in the past.
