| PURPOSE OF FOUNDATION | The popularization and spread of origami. |
| INTRODUCTION | Ever since starting operations at the International Center as a Japanese paper handicrafts group, we have worked towards teaching and popularizing origami among both Japanese and foreign citizens at international events and conventions. At the Sendai International Music Competition, we provide a cultural exchange salon as a place for participants and staff to relax while enjoying origami which reproduces the four seasons of Japan. We have a workshop at the International Center the first Wednesday of every month, as well as have a class once a year aimed towards the general public and foreigners, who can come and enjoy origami. |
