PURPOSE OF FOUNDATIONAn independent government organization established according to the Japan International Cooperation Agency Law (2002 law no.136). Through the economic and social development of developing areas, and contributing to the stability of reconstruction and the economy, we aim to promote international cooperation.
INTRODUCTIONAs an organization carrying out ODA, JICA focuses on carrying out international cooperation in developing countries. Through our work, we promote a brighter future for the people of the world, bring peace and freedom, and build trust alongside our partners.
Besides from helping NPO and small and medium size enterprises establish offices in developing countries and providing technical training to government workers, JICA Tohoku also recruits overseas volunteers and give lectures at education settings
PRJICA Plaza, which is organized by JICA Tohoku, is a space open to those who have an interest in international cooperation. Please use it for meetings to study, collecting various materials, consultations regarding joining the JICA overseas cooperation team, or in any other way that is useful to you.
