| PURPOSE OF FOUNDATION | Deepen international friendship among children of the world, increase exchange and training among members, and strive to create a create a better environment for children from the grassroots level. |
| INTRODUCTION | Children’s Communication on Earth was founded in 1992 and in 1993 began inviting children mostly from asian countries (Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, and Laos), conducting international homestays for children and hold the International Children's conference once every five years. We will fulfill our role as a place of shared understanding for continuous international exchange programs which will allow children to experience foreign cultures in their daily lives, broaden their global perspective, cultivate internationalism, and support the next generation of children. |
| PR | 726 children from 7 countries have participated in our homestays. They visited 81 elementary and junior high schools in Miyagi, which involved more than 20,000 children in total. 600 host families from 5 countries have also participated. We have a strong support system for the children, fostered by continued exchange. In 2018 we started a young adult/teen division. This consists of past participants from CCE homestays, who are currently high school/university students or working. Starting in 2021, online events have been held with the countries from previous programs. In June 6, 2024 we conducted our 57th program. We have conducted homestays in Indonesia, Cambodia, and Laos. （Updated: October 28, 2024） |
