Sendai International Half Marathon 2026 Recruiting Overseas Runners (Sendai Residents and Visitors) 仙台国際ハーフマラソン2026 海外出身ランナー募集
The Sendai International Half Marathon is the greatest urban half marathon race in Japan, held every year on the second Sunday of May in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Around 10,000 runners take part, and everyone from elites to city residents can enjoy the course at their own pace running through the vibrant green foliage of the City of Trees. As an international race, a key feature of this event is the participation of lots of overseas athletes.
The Sendai International Half Marathon is currently recruiting runners from overseas, and overseas residents living in Sendai such as international students.
The deadline to enter is January 6, 2026 (Japan Standard Time).
