June Hello Sendai Broadcast-Making the Best of Japan’s Rainy Season. (6月の多言語放送局)
The rain is upon us. Japan suffers from a month of rain starting around June, known as Tsuyu.
Those who like the rain may be looking forward to the constant showers but those who prefer clear skies may struggle during this time.
This time, join our four guests from Malaysia, Germany, the United Kingdom and United States as they talk about ways of dealing with the rain and keeping warm or cool amidst the constant temperature changes. While the concept of rain is consistent around the world, the thought around it varies from country to country.
While the rainy season is known for rain, it is also known for inconsistent temperature changes. In the second half, our guests dive into methods to help keep warm or cool, as well as general rainy weather survival gear.
Weather or not you enjoy the rain, be sure to tune in!
