In recent years, with the increasing number of foreign residents with backgrounds featuring a diverse array languages and cultures, it has become an important issue to realize a society where citizens can coexist while mutually accepting the different cultures of others. The “Sendai Multicultural Channel” is a project where we introduce our City of Sendai using videos with the theme of “Multiculturalism.” We have the goal of informing as many citizens as possible about how Sendai is a city which lives and breathes “Multiculturalism,” in addition to expanding the extent of such activities even further though these videos.
