We provide useful information for living to non-Japanese residents living in Sendai.
Additionally, we give daily-life advice to non-Japanese residents, and advice related to multicultural community building.
As a JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization) ( http://www.jnto.go.jp/jpn/) -designated ‘Visit Japan Tourist Information Office,’ information centered on Sendai City and nearby areas is also offered.

Consultation and Advice in Foreign Languages
We accept appointments for advice in foreign languages.
Languages available: Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Nepali, Tagalog, Thai, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Indonesian, Italian, French, German, Malay, Khmer, Burmese, Mongolian, Sinhalese, Hindi, Bengali, and Ukrainian
*Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Nepali speaking staff are available at the Sendai Multicultural Center 1-2 times per week. Please contact us for further details.
*There may be occasions where the Interpretation Support Hotline (3-way calling system) is used.
Consultation Sessions with Specialists
Consult on matters such as residency status, law, work issues, administrative procedures, and tax. Please check the following for details on the dates, times, and reservation process.

Interpretation Support Hotline
We offer this service to non-Japanese residents in Sendai, foreign tourists, or short-term visitors in Sendai requesting information in foreign languages, or those who find communicating in Japanese difficult at administration windows, our staff and volunteers offer communication support through the use of a triophone (3-way calling service).

Tsukibo Volunteers
A service for supporting foreigners who are unsure of their ability to communicate in Japanese, or are not yet used to life in Japan, where a member of the volunteer foreigner-support group OASIS provides an interpreting support service for help with application procedures at various administration counters.
