Information about international relations, international cooperation and multiculturalism is offered at the counter.
In addition, information necessary for foreigners living in Sendai is also collected and provided here. As well as this, inquiries and questions are also accepted in person, over the phone, or by e-mail.
Volunteer foreigner-support group OASIS (http://samidare.jp/oasis/) also provide help with inquiries at the counter.

As a JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization)（ http://www.jnto.go.jp/jpn/）-designated ‘Visit Japan Tourist Information Office’ information centered on Sendai City and nearby areas is also offered.
Interpretation Support Hotline
When foreign residents in Sendai, foreign tourists, or short-term visitors in Sendai request information in foreign languages, or are finding communication in Japanese difficult at the administration windows, interpretation help is offered in English, Chinese, Korean, Tagalog, Portuguese, Vietnamese and Nepali by Koryu Corner staff and volunteer interpreters.
(Everyday 09:00-20:00, excluding the 1-2 days per month that the International Center is closed)
For foreigners who are unsure of their ability to communicate in Japanese, or are not yet used to life in Japan, a member of the volunteer foreigner-support group OASIS provides an interpreting support service for help at various information counters.
