Welcome to TOHOKU~Rediscover the Charm of Tohoku at Koryu Corner~

Did you know the kokeshi dolls you see at hot springs are folk arts that originated in the

Tohoku region? Do you know who Date Masamune is and what he did in Sendai? Come and listen to

interesting stories and rediscover the charm of Tohoku! There will be ghost stories from Tohoku

too. Some members of the Date Bushotai welcome squad will also be present. Come and see who

will join us!

◆Participants: Any non-Japanese residents
◆Fee: Free, applications required
◆Capacity: 25 people (first come, first served)

You can also enjoy a sword performance by the Date Bushotai. Walk with us to the
Remains of Aoba Castle after the event to see it!
