Citizens’ City Planning Forum ― Everyone’s Sendai, Creating the Future 2019
Call for non-Japanese residents of Sendai City participation
（市民まちづくりフォーラム ―みんなのせんだい未来づくり2019― 外国人住民の参加者募集）
There will be a new “Comprehensive Plan” for the future of city planning in Sendai city.
This comprehensive plan will be developed using the opinions and ideas of citizens voiced at this citizen-oriented city planning forum.
There are eight themes which participants will discuss at this forum. One such theme is “Forming a Multicultural Society.” In this discussion participants will brainstorm ideas on how to achieve a community in which Japanese and non-Japanese residents live in harmony.
We are also looking for foreign residents of Sendai to participate in this forum.
In the case that there are more applications than spaces available, participants will be chosen by lottery.
Date：Monday (Hol.) October 14, 2019, 1:00P.M.~4:30P.M.(Venue opens from 12：30)
Venue: Sendai International Center Exhibition Hall Exhibition room 1 (Aobayama, Aoba Ward, Sendai)
Target: Non-Japanese residents living in Sendai, high school age and above, who are able to communicate in Japanese. (There will be no interpreters.)
Childcare: For children aged 0 to 6 years old not attending elementary school (age as of October 14 10)・15 spaces (in the case that there are more applications than spaces available, there will be a lottery held)
